Background

Trish Hennessy is an award-winning photographer from Albany, New York with more than 30 years of experience. Trish specializes in wildlife and destination photography. She has recently been published in the Remembering Wildlife series, Remembering Leopards.

Following her decorated career as an official New York State photographer for more than 10 years, Trish has been focused on capturing animals and landscapes through her lens.

Her passion and love for photography has taken her across the country and around the world, including most recently Jackson Hole, WY, Cape Cod, MA, Ireland, and Africa. Trish’s travels have given her the opportunity to profile some of her favorite animals, including cranes, giraffes, chimpanzees, leopards and lions.

Trish’s work has been recognized by the Albany Times Union and she has also been published in the UK. She recently was nominated for best photo in the National Wildlife Federation Photo contest for her photo of “dancing Leopards” in Kenya – coming in second place with more than 30,000 entries.
